Outfit 63 | Almost Precise - Pinnacle Top

It was daring for me to attempt to sew such a precise pattern as such an impatient sewist, but the Pinnacle Top demanded a slow down, and it was worth it. Even with the more-careful sewing required, this top came together over a single weekend, making it easier to cope with the fact that I had to re-sew a couple seams in the name of (imperfect) symmetry. As temperatures start to creep up, I start to notice how few short-sleeve blouses I own (but how on earth do I have so many t-shirts?!). I intentionally wanted to sew up something to fill this gap in my wardrobe, and I liked the options in neckline and sleeve this pattern provided for future projects. The crisp lines and boxy fit called for an airy linen, and the mix of the silhouette and the fabric makes this perfect for a southeast spring. At the end of April I turned 30, which I know for some they approach apprehensively, but I welcomed it with excitement. Thirty is a celebration! I am more myself, and more comfortable with who that
