Kinder Beauty Makeup Challenge
Let me first preface this post with the disclaimer that I am a mere makeup-enjoyer, and by no means a makeup professional. That being said, I really appreciate the talent of makeup artists (aka I watch a bunch of beauty Youtube) and I think it's so fun to play with makeup.
When I received this month's Kinder Beauty Box (you can read my thoughts on the vegan, cruelty-free beauty subscription box here) I was suddenly inspired! Now, in this weird quarantine limbo we are all living in, I am taking no bursts of inspiration for granted. In this short-lived but much appreciated moment of creativity I thought: how fun would it be to do a face of makeup using the products collected from Kinder Beauty boxes?
And now-- here we are. I had a lot of fun (I haven't really been getting changed out of sweats, so this was a very welcome change) and was pushed to try some new combinations of products I normally wouldn't -- like the blend of these two metallic eye colors, which I'm now in love with...
Let this be a testament to the truth that you don't need to be perfect to try new things-- plus it's the time of social isolation, so if you mess up comically, just turn your video off in your upcoming Zoom call. No one needs to know...and your cat can only give you judgey looks.
